Principal's Message

Hello E.B. Ellington Families,

It seems like yesterday that I started my career as an educator.  Twenty three years later, I can truly say that I have enjoyed my journey as a teacher, Assistant Principal, and now Interim Principal of E.B. Ellington.   I have so much to be thankful for and proud of at E.B. Ellington Elementary. I am thankful to be a part of a wonderful school with a terrific faculty and staff, parents, students, and community members. We have had an outstanding first and second quarter due to the combined efforts of all of our stakeholders. Our teachers and students have been working very hard on student achievement, our Awards Program, fundraisers, a spectacular showcase to honor our former Principal Karen Hollinshead-Brown, Harvesting Good Readers, writing contests, STEM Challenge, STEM Club, and we are looking forward to our Celebration of the Arts Festival on April 16th. There are so many awesome things going on at the Eagles Nest. Thank you for your continued support and all you have done to make this school year a success.  The best is yet to come.
Remember, at E.B. Ellington, we are “Striving for Excellence.”
